Innovates and Transforms
The project UdeC Innova y Transforma es una iniciativa que busca fortalecer las capacidades institucionales de la Universidad de Concepción para impulsar la innovación basada en investigación y desarrollo (I+D), con foco en generar mayor impacto en el desarrollo sostenible y en la transferencia de conocimiento hacia la sociedad y la industria. La iniciativa es financiada por el Concurso InES I+D 2025 de la Agencia Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo (ANID).
Although UdeC has a solid scientific and technological trajectory, it is currently facing relevant challenges, including the readiness of its technologies, the integration among key units, the systematic outreach to the production sector, and a significant dependence on public financing.
This initiative will allow for the consolidation of a more competitive, sustainable, and connected R&D+I+E ecosystem, positioning UdeC as a key player in innovation at national and international levels.
OBJECTIVES
The project proposes a comprehensive transformation of the innovation ecosystem, through:

Greater connection with the industry and technological networks
PROTOTYPING AND SCALING
Valorization of the infrastructure for prototyping and scaling
TRANSFER AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Strengthening technology transfer and the creation of science-based technological enterprises
INNOVATIVE CULTURE
Promotion of an innovation culture with a focus on gender equity

Red de Gestores I+D+i+e
La Red de Gestores I+D+i+e UdeC es una comunidad de articulación y colaboración interna que reúne a quienes cumplen funciones de apoyo a la investigación, desarrollo, innovación, emprendimiento y transferencia tecnológica en las distintas facultades, centros y unidades de la Universidad de Concepción.
La Red busca transformarse en un espacio permanente de conexión, intercambio de experiencias, identificación de desafíos comunes y construcción conjunta de soluciones para mejorar la gestión institucional de I+D+i+e.

Acelera Tech Fund
ACELERA TECH is a fund aimed at improving the readiness of UdeC technologies,it is organized by the Transfer and Licensing Office (OTL-UdeC), together with the Faculty of Engineering and the Science and Innovation Plan to 2030 UdeC, and it is co-financed by ANID’s InES I+D UdeC Project.
The initiative seeks to support scientific and technological research, contributing to the readiness of projects created at UdeC, improving the offer to potential licensees, and encouraging the transfer of knowledge and technology to society.
